People need to be healthy to meet the challenges they face, especially children. New Beginnings provides access to doctors, medicines and medical equipment that those we serve cannot afford or access on their own.
In addition to the normal health concerns we all have, the people we serve often live in a very toxic environment; regularly face food insecurity – both quality and quantity; do not always have ready access to potable water, and must contend with parasites and illnesses such as Dengue Fever.
This is particularly challenging during the Covid pandemic, as prices for some medicines have doubled. New Beginnings has a Covid program that will supply medicines; oxygen tanks and access to doctors for those impacted by Covid.
We welcome medical and health professionals – doctors, dentists, nurses, chiropractors, physiotherapists etc.- to volunteer your time and skills.
